 Project - Willmar
Project Name: Willmar Wastewater Program D3 and D4 Southern Interceptors Project Description: The Willmar Wastewater D3 and D4 projects were constructed simultaneously. S.R. Weidema crews went through specialized training to be certified to weld the 1,555 Ameron PVC pipe-liner joints required for this project. Installation of over 30,000 lineal feet of 18”-54” gravity sewer, 14,000 lineal feet of 16” forcemain and 3,210 lineal feet of outfall sewer were also completed on this project. S.R. Weidema relocated 12” watermain and provided temporary water service. Construction also consisted of connections to existing facilities, restoring existing service connections and restoring existing storm sewer and catch basins. While portions of the work on these projects were on agricultural land, it also involved work in city streets and residential neighborhoods. We were responsible for maintaining access for area residents and businesses. Our crews worked 35,000 accident and injury free hours on this project!
